About us

Photo of Snowden tripArising out of youth outreach work, the Emmanuel Trust works alongside today’s young people helping them to address issues of anti-social behaviour, truancy, drug abuse, boredom and life-style challenges.

Our key worker is well known on the streets of East Birmingham and Solihull where he works closely with other related agencies such as the Police, Social Services, the Probation Service, and Drug Counselling services. He runs football teams, and is currently involved in setting up a community football league for disaffected young people. He also organises playschemes, holiday clubs and outdoor pursuit weekends in association with other agencies.

Activities help to promote self worth, team spirit, a recognition that goals can be achieved as well as building personal relationships. Encouraging qualities of discipline, self control and team-working portrays good models of behaviour. The key worker and his assistants offer love, support, encouragement, and hope. This enables young people to build faith in themselves, in others and helps them to address their own spiritual needs In all this, we seek to show the way God values everyone, giving purpose, and meaning to their lives. We offer, by example, a lifestyle that can demonstrate the reality of a life-changing experience.
